Left Column: This is a continuation -from page 2- of the article/letter from "Clarissa the Unfortunate" addressed to that "Sacriligious Witch" -the metaphorical Celestina- condemning her pernicious arguments and false interpretations of scripture.
Center & Right columns: The center column contains a poem entitled "Chirps". It is written by Dr. Martinez' partner in "El Perico", Joseph LaPierre who went by the pseudonym of 'The Nightengale' (Spanish: Ruisenor).
The right column is entitled "Pecks". It opens with a response to a campaign inaugurated against "El Perico" by a group of Franciscan Friars. It also discusses an incident of election fraud.
